Ordesekimab (AMG 714; PRV-015) is a fully human IgG1κ anti-IL-15(Interleukin Related) monoclonal antibody. The binding of Ordesekimab toIL-15inhibits the interaction ofIL-15with the IL-2Rβ and common γ chain of theIL-15 receptorcomplex, but not with the IL-15Rα chain. Ordesekimab has the potential for study of nonresponsive celiac disease (NRCD)^[1].

The simultaneous binding of Ordesekimab (AMG 714) to the Fcγ receptor (R) IIIα expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and to the IL-15/IL-15Rα complex on cells such as monocytes may theoretically enable antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) toward the IL-15Rα-expressing cells^[1].
