Flavoxate is a potent and competitivephosphodiesterase (PDE)inhibitor. Flavoxate is anantispasmodicagent and muscarinicmAChRantagonist. Flavoxate shows moderatecalciumantagonistic activity and local anesthetic effect. Flavoxate can be used for the research of overactive bladder (OAB) and lower urinary tract infections^[1]^[2].
