Epoxylathyrol, an epoxylathyrane derivative isolated from theEuphorbia boetica, is aP-glycoprotein(P-gp)inhibitor. Epoxylathyrol is a P-gp-mediated multidrug resistance (MDR) reverser^[1][2].

Epoxylathyrol has no significant antiproliferative activity in EPG85-257P (parental; IC₅₀>100 uM), EPG85-257RNOV (multidrug resistance [MDR] phenotype; IC₅₀>100 uM), and EPG85-257RDB (multidrug resistance [MDR] phenotype; IC₅₀=70.53 uM)^[1].
