Cimbuterol is an agonist of β-adrenergic receptors (β-ARs).^1,2It has been used as a standard for the simultaneous detection of multiple veterinary residues in commercial animal meat by LC-MS/MS.¹Formulations containing cimbuterol have been used to promote growth and improve feed efficiency in livestock.
