RBM5 是一种RNA结合蛋白，可通过与剪接体连接调节选择性剪切（1,2）。RBM5 起初确定为抑癌基因，可与 U2AF65 相互作用，以调节许多促凋亡基因，例如 Fas（3）。在许多肺癌中，RBM5 明显丢失，也被证实成为男性生殖细胞 RNA 剪接前的关键调节分子 (4-6）。
