11β-Hydroxyetiocholanolone is a metabolite of hydrocortisone .¹Fecal levels of 11β-hydroxyetiocholanolone are increased in response to environmental stress in giraffes (G. camelopardalis) and plains zebras (E. quagga).^2,3
