Actein is a triterpene glycoside isolated from the rhizomes ofCimicifuga foetida. Actein suppresses cell proliferation, inducesautophagyandapoptosisthrough promotingROS/JNKactivation, and bluntingAKTpathway in human bladdercancer. Actein has little toxicityin vivo^[1]^[2].
