Elobixibat hydrate is a potentileal bile acid transporter (IBAT)inhibitor, withIC₅₀values of 0.53 ± 0.17 nM, 0.13 ± 0.03 nM, and 5.8 ± 1.6 nM for human IBAT, mouse IBAT, and canine IBAT. Elobixibat hydrate can be used for chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) research^[1].
