CC -!- CAUTION: Prakash et al. cloned a partial cDNA corresponding to the
CC 3'UTR of the last exon of the gene (PubMed:7892239). They have shown
CC that a synthetic peptide derived from this sequence could stimulate
CC fibroblasts growth in vitro, and that this protein could be a
CC fibrogenic lymphokine, that could stimulate several biological
CC activities related to scarring. It would be expressed several cell
CC types including CD4+ lymphocytes and fibroblasts. However, it was not
CC confirmed by in vivo data. {ECO:0000305|PubMed:7892239}.
CC -!- SEQUENCE CAUTION:
CC Sequence=AAH27193.1; Type=Erroneous initiation; Note=Truncated N-terminus.; Evidence={ECO:0000305};
CC Sequence=AK037952; Type=Frameshift; Evidence={ECO:0000305};
CC Sequence=AK037952; Type=Miscellaneous discrepancy; Note=Contaminating sequence. Sequence of unknown origin in the N-terminal part.; Evidence={ECO:0000305};
