CC hydrocephalus 3, a lethal communicating hydrocephalus with perinatal
CC onset. There is lethality in the first weeks of life because of
CC hydrocephalus caused by abnormal ependymal ciliary motility. Cilia are
CC unable to bend normally, ciliary beat frequency is reduced, and the
CC cilia tend to stall. As a result, these cilia are incapable of
CC generating fluid flow. Similar defects are observed for cilia in
CC trachea. Mice do not exhibit randomization of left-right body asymmetry
