CC   -!- FUNCTION: This is one of the several different receptors for 5-
CC       hydroxytryptamine (serotonin). 5-HT plays important roles in various

CC       plasticity, and synaptic growth. This receptor is mediated by G
CC       proteins that stimulate phospholipase C.
