CC -!- DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE: In the developing embryo, it is confined to the
CC gut and caudal hindbrain. In caudal hindbrain, it is specifically
CC expressed in a subpopulation of differentiating V2 neurons. Not
CC detected prior to 12.5 dpc and is not found in motor nuclei. At 12.5
CC dpc, it is expressed in the ventral medial aspect of the medullary
CC reticular formation (MDR). At 16.5 dpc, expression is confined to the
CC gigantocellular nucleus, a nucleus that is part of the MDR. In addition
CC to the CNS, it is also expressed in the developing gut, in duodenal and
CC glandular stomach endoderm and, at the end of gestation becomes
CC restricted to the base of the gastric units in the glandular stomach.
CC Expressed at very low level in the pancreatic epithelium. Expressed in
