CC -!- FUNCTION: Secreted effector that contributes moderately to virulence
CC during infection by P.capsici. Does not cause visible reaction of
CC C.annuum for several days after inoculation, but by 7 days after
CC inoculation, small necrotic lesions become visible. Leads only to
CC chlorotic areas, without necrosis at 7 days after non-host
CC N.benthamiana leaves infection. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:24886309}.
CC -!- SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Secreted {ECO:0000305|PubMed:21644208}.
CC -!- INDUCTION: Expression is induced during infection of host leaves, but
CC stays low compared to other NLP effectors.
CC {ECO:0000269|PubMed:24886309}.
CC -!- DOMAIN: The structure of NLP effectors is remarkably conserved with a
CC high level of conservation of a central hepta-peptide motif GHRHDWE.
CC {ECO:0000305|PubMed:21644208}.
CC -!- SIMILARITY: Belongs to the Necrosis inducing protein (NPP1) family.
CC {ECO:0000305}.
