CC -!- FUNCTION: Secreted effector that contributes to virulence during
CC infection by P.capsici. Induces distinct chlorosis at 3 days after
CC inoculation of host C.annuum leaves, and all the chlorotic areas
CC gradually turn brown and become moderately necrotic at 7 days after
CC inoculation. Caused only small necrotic areas at 7 days after non-host
CC N.benthamiana leaves infection. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:24886309}.
CC -!- SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Secreted {ECO:0000305|PubMed:21644208}.
CC -!- INDUCTION: Expression reached the highest levels at 3 days after
CC inoculation of pepper leaves, followed by a gradual decline.
CC {ECO:0000269|PubMed:24886309}.
CC -!- DOMAIN: The structure of NLP effectors is remarkably conserved with a
CC high level of conservation of a central hepta-peptide motif GHRHDWE.
CC {ECO:0000305|PubMed:21644208}.
CC -!- SIMILARITY: Belongs to the Necrosis inducing protein (NPP1) family.
CC {ECO:0000305}.
