CC chromophore. May be involved in guiding the chromophore through the

CC -!- TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Present in larval hemolymph and synthesized by the
CC fat body.
CC -!- DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE: Early larval stages produce only traces of obp,
CC but its synthesis increases dramatically during the fifth larval
CC instar, then it decreases but persists in hemolymph of adults.
