CC -!- FUNCTION: Regulatory peptide encoded by the primary transcript (pri-
CC miR165a) of the microRNA miR165a that enhances the accumulation of its
CC corresponding mature miRNA. Acts as a transcriptional activator of its
CC corresponding pri-miRNA. Addition of synthetic miPEP165a increases the
CC abundance of miR165a, with consequent increase of root length.
