CC -!- FUNCTION: Antimicrobial peptide active against Gram-positive bacteria
CC M.luteus (MIC=1.6 uM) and B.subtilis (MIC=3.3 uM). Less active against
CC Gram-negative bacteria E.coli (MIC=63.3 uM) and yeast C.albicans
CC (MIC=24.2 uM). Not active against S.aureus and P.aeruginosa. Has no
CC hemolytic activity against human erythrocytes. Probably acts by
