CC       of clustered proteinaceous microfibrils, or rodlets, to form the outer
CC       spore coat protein. It is involved in resistance to environmental
CC       stress and may well be associated with conidial hydrophobicity. It is
CC       important in the morphogenesis of the dispersible conidia.
