CC   -!- FUNCTION: Trichothecene 3-O-acetyltransferase involved in self-
CC       protection against trichothecenes, mycotoxins acting as eukaryotic
CC       protein synthesis inhibitors. Its existence is surprising in a non-
CC       trichothecene producer organism which needs no self-protection again
CC       endogenic trichothecenes. The persistence of this non-essential gene
CC       may be due to a selective advantage that it may confer, like a
