CC       regulation of the uptake and export of signaling pathways. Could be
CC       involved the regulation of indole as well as uptake and export of AI-2

CC   -!- DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE: Cells show increased biofilm formation when
CC       glucose is present in the medium. In a continuous-flow system with M9C
CC       medium supplemented with glucose, the biofilm had a 290-fold greater
CC       biomass, a 2700-fold greater thickness and a 31-fold increased surface
