CC       kb. Both are detected soon after fertilization and show relatively
CC       constant expression during the first 2/3 of embryogenesis. In 0-3 hours
CC       embryos, the smaller transcript is predominant and the levels of the
CC       two transcripts are somewhat reduced at the later stages of
CC       development, but they are found in approximately constant amounts
CC       during larval, pupal and adult stages. The smaller transcript is
CC       suspected to be a maternal transcript.
