CC       quorum sensing autoinducer C12-HSL (N-dodecanoyl-homoserine lactone) on
CC       a large and diverse number of genes (By similarity). Binds with high
CC       specificity to a large number of sites distributed across the genome.
CC       The VjbR-binding motif contains an asymmetric 16-bp consensus sequence,
CC       an unusual feature among LuxR-type regulators (PubMed:28334833). May
CC       directly modulate expression of many genes, including virulence
CC       determinants, components of the respiratory chain, efflux systems,
CC       elements predicted to participate in ion transport and adaptation to
CC       stress, uncharacterized proteins, as well as transcriptional regulators
CC       probably responsible for the observed indirect VjbR-mediated effects

CC   -!- INDUCTION: Regulated at the post-transcriptional level. In rich medium,
CC       protein is expressed only in the stationary phase of growth. In minimal
CC       medium, protein is expressed only at pH 5.5 in the presence of urocanic

CC   -!- MISCELLANEOUS: A B.abortus vjbR deletion mutant complemented with the
CC       defective B.melitensis D82A mutant does not display the typical
