CC -!- FUNCTION: The SecYEG-SecDF-YajC-YidC holo-translocon (HTL) protein
CC secretase/insertase is a supercomplex required for protein secretion,
CC insertion of proteins into membranes, and assembly of membrane protein
CC complexes (PubMed:27435098). The SecYEG complex is essential for
CC assembly of a number of proteins and complexes, assembly is facilitated
CC in the presence of the SecDF-YajC-YidC subcomplex (PubMed:27435098).

CC -!- SUBUNIT: Part of the SecDF-YidC-YajC translocase complex; YajC is also
CC present in a homooligomeric complex in excess of the other components
CC (PubMed:16079137). The SecDF-YidC-YajC translocase forms a supercomplex
CC with SecYEG, called the holo-translocon (HTL) (PubMed:27435098). The
CC stoichiometry of the super complex may be SecYEG:YidC:SecDF 4:3:1, YajC
CC is in the reconstituted complex (with SecDF) but as no antibody is
CC available it could not be quantified (PubMed:27435098).
