CC   -!- DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE: Knockout animals born in Mendelian ratios, but
CC       show increased neonatal mortality such that around 40% survive to
CC       weaning. Mutants show a reduction in striatal volume and changes in
CC       medium spiny neuron morphology. They have alterations in motor control,
CC       including hyperactivity, impaired rotarod performance, repetitive
CC       movements, and behavioral hyperresponsiveness to amphetamine.
