CC the lateral ganglionic eminence than in the medial ganglionic eminence.
CC By 14.5 dpc expression remains enriched in the subventricular zone and
CC marginal zones of the ganglionic eminences and is detected at low
CC levels in the cortical plate, developing amygdala, and thalamus. By
CC 16.5 dpc, expression increases in the cortical plate, developing
CC amygdala, and portions of the thalamus and hypothalamus. In the
CC telencephalon, the postnatal expression become more restricted to the

CC -!- DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE: Knockout animals born in Mendelian ratios, but
CC show increased neonatal mortality such that around 40% survive to
CC weaning. Mutants show a reduction in striatal volume and changes in
CC medium spiny neuron morphology. They have alterations in motor control,
CC including hyperactivity, impaired rotarod performance, repetitive
CC movements, and behavioral hyperresponsiveness to amphetamine.
