CC -!- FUNCTION: Mu-conotoxins block voltage-gated sodium channels (Nav). This
CC synthetic toxin inhibits tetrodotoxin-resistant and -sensitive voltage-
CC gated sodium channels. This block is very slowly reversible. Causes
CC seizures and paralysis, when injected intracranially into mice.
