CC -!- FUNCTION: Plays a central role in the packaging of viral DNA into phage
CC procapsid, which occurs in the late stage of infection. The protein C
CC can interact with the replicative complex composed of the protein A,
CC the host rep and the viral DNA after the completion of one round of DNA
CC synthesis. When protein C is bound to the replicative form, the complex
CC becomes accessible to procapsid and serves as a DNA packaging
